Design The Dell Vostro V13

The Dell Vostro V13 is very elegant and robust. But, unlike the Dell XPS or Latitude Adamo Z600 this machine offers more style than substance.
The design of the Dell Vostro V13 measures only 0.7 cm thick and weighs approximately 3.4 pounds. The top and bottom are brushed aluminum. The interior sports a laptop matt black plastic. Build quality is excellent. The Vostro 1913 can survive the rigors of business travel.
Laptop Review Configuration Processor: 1.3 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SU7300 OS: Windows 7 Professional (32 bit) RAM: 4 GB of storage: 500 GB / 7200 rpm HDD Display: 13.3 inch 1366 x 768 Graphics Intel GMA 4500MHD integrated, as shown Price: $ 991
Vostro V13 starts at $ 449. The basic model has a 1.3 GHz Intel Celeron M ULV 743 processor, the Linux version Ubuntu 9.04, 2 GB of RAM, a 5400 rpm, 250 GB hard drive, wireless 802.11b / g.
Heat the heat levels are nothing to be especially considering the thinness of the notebook concerns.
Keyboard and touchpad The keyboard is almost the same size, but unfortunately not very good. The keys are a bit noisy when pressed. The touch screen measures 3.2 x 1.7 inches and is ideal for a notebook this size. The touchpad surface is slightly indented and provides the right amount of friction.
Screen display of audio and V13 have a Dell Vostro 13.3 inch 1366 x 768 pixels. The screen is very nice, with good color and contrast acceptable. Viewing angles are also good. Vostro V13 is not an entertainment notebook, the sound quality remains good.
Ports and Harbour webcam selection is average. A USB port, an eSATA / USB combo, Ethernet, VGA, ExpressCard slot, 5-in-1 memory card reader for headphones and microphone. No HDMI or FireWire. The 1.3-megapixel webcam produces decent images.
The performance of the Dell Vostro V13 has an Intel U7300 1.3 GHz and 4 GB of RAM. The laptop has an outstanding record of not offering a series of benchmark tests, but has enough power for everyday tasks. Open multiple tabs for navigation is no problem, no image editing in Photoshop. The V13 has a Vostro 7200 rpm disk, it works very well. Boot times are also good. GMA 4500 integrated graphics are not very powerful, high-end games so is demand. But that should not be considered a disadvantage because V13 Vostro is a business notebook and businesses should not enjoy the rough play.
Battery life The battery life is below average. The laptop only lasts about 4.5 hours of web browsing via Wi-Fi constant. The battery is not user replaceable.
The verdict of the Dell Vostro V13 is as attractive as Adamo XPS and Latitude 13 Z600.But this machine is more expensive than its siblings and is short battery life. Indeed, the advantage of ThinkPad HP Compaq 1913 and 5310m are better options for small and medium businesses looking to invest their money wisely. But if you like to buy a Dell, the Vostro 3300 is getting a better idea. It is a little thicker, but considerably faster than the Vostro V13.
